What is Motor Testing?
Motor testing involves a series of diagnostic procedures to assess the performance, health, and efficiency of electric motors. It helps identify potential issues early on, preventing costly downtime and ensuring safety.
Why is Motor Testing Important?
Motor testing is crucial for several reasons:
How to Test an Electric Motor
Testing an electric motor involves several steps:
Dynamometers for Motor Testing
Magtrol offers several types of Dynamometers, each with a different braking system to absorb load: These include but are not limited to hysteresis, Eddy-current, and powder. Our dynamometers, electronics, and software are used for testing all types of electric and pneumatic motors, gas engines, gearheads, servo drives, and inverters.
