HRL Series – Anchor Load Cell

Product Description

HRL Series load cells consist of a high quality stainless steel. This compact load cell is designed specifically for heavy duty use on construction sites and include load cells with a range of 600 … 3 000 kN. Special designs are available upon request. The attached shielded cable includes a water-proof connector with cap. Versions without the connector are available as an option. Cable lengths are customizable according to the installation requirements; for further information please contact us. The data collected from the strain gauge is proportional to the applied force. The signal is transmitted to the monitoring unit for amplification.

[post_content] => The load cells of the ZB series have been designed for use under industrial conditions in hybrid type weighing systems up to Class III, for which calibration is obligatory. Made entirely of stainless steel , they are an excellent choice for weighing systems in the foodstuff industry. The sensing element itself is a twin-bend design with metal foil strain gauges. A metal folding bellow welded over this unit forms a hermetically sealed chamber, which when filled with dry nitrogen constantly ensures stable measuring characteristics irrespective of environmental influences. There is a second hermetically sealed chamber containing components for compensation and adjustment, which are required for the exact setting of the guaranteed technical parameters. The load cell is for measuring tensile or pressure forces. The assembly appliances, which will be delivered as a separate order, include an integrated overload protection, thus enabling the user to integrate the load cell in his weighing system without any problem or safety risk. As a standard, the load cells are equipped with a 3 m connection cable. It is a matter of course that these load cells, after calibration in N, can also be supplied as high precision force transducers up to the accuracy class 0.05%. Moreover, the load cells can be supplied an with integrated amplifier (model ZB-E). The output voltages (0 to 10) V or (4 to 20) mA can be selected.

[post_content] => MAGTROL offers a wide range of Load-Force-Weight Transducers with optional integrated electronics or Load Monitoring Units (LMU) with B.I.T.E. functions creating an ideal measurement system which continuously checks for overloads and short circuits. Idealy for use on Safety Applications according to ECE-R10, ISO 13849-1 : CAT4 & PLe (LE 600 Series); ISO 13849-1 : CAT2 & PLd (LE 400 Series).

Magtrol Load Measuring Pins are used to measure load and force, and provide overload protection. The pins are mounted into machines in place of normal shafts and fitted with strain gauges, allowing them to produce a signal proportional to the measured load. Manufactured in Switzerland, Magtrol’s LE Series Load Measuring Pins are rugged with high resistance stainless steel and tight construction. Available in several standard ranges from 2.5 kN ... 1 250 kN, their operation remains trouble-free and reliable even in electromagnetically difficult environmental conditions.

Design

Magtrol's Load Measuring Pins have two circular grooves and an axial bore. Inside the central bore, adjacent to the external grooves, the strain gauges are mounted in a full-bridge configuration. The positioning and orientation of the strain gauges have been optimized by means of the finite element method (FEM). The sensor element itself is fabricated as a transverse body. A metal diaphragm, which is welded on to the deformation zone protects the sensitive strain gauges from environmental influences. As a result constant measuring characteristics are ensured. Compensation and adjustment elements, which are required for the exact setting of the guaranteed technical parameters, are positioned in a special chamber, which is also sealed. The load cell can be subjected to traction or compression force. An assembly kit, which can be ordered separately, facilitates the unproblematic and safe installation of the load cell in the weighing unit. As a standard, the load cells are supplied with a 3 m long connection cable. Of course, these load cells, calibrated in Newton (N), can also be supplied as high-precision transducers up to the accuracy class 0.05%.
