5502/5503 – Manual Dynamometer Switch Box

Magtrol Models 5502 and 5503 are manually-operated switch boxes that permit the connection of up to three Magtrol Dynamometers to a single Dynamometer Controller. Use of the switch boxes facilitates quick and easy interfacing to multiple dynamometers without the need to disconnect and reconnect the brake and control cables. For Magtrol WB Eddy-current or PB Powder Brake Dynamometers, BOTH a 5502 AND a 5503 Switch Box are necessary. Magtrol HD or ED Hysteresis Dynamometers only require the 5502.

Magtrol Coupling Guards are easily removable and designed to mount in front of Magtrol HD Series Dynamometers. They are also available for some WB Series Dynamometers.

Coupling Guards help keep objects from vertical interference and aid in preventing accidental coupling contact during rotation. The guard length required will change according to the coupling size used with the dynamometer.

Magtrol Coupling Guards are not explosion proof and are not intended as protection against catastrophic coupling failure.

                    [post_content] => Wird eine Magtrol Leistungsbremse, Bremse oder ein Drehmomentaufnehmer in Verbindung mit der zu prüfenden Einheit auf Magtrol’s Serie PT Grundplatte mit T-Nute montiert, hat man den grundlegenden Aufbau eines Prüfstands geschaffen. Je nach Systemkonfiguration kann ein Höherlegungssatz erforderlich sein, um den Drehmomentaufnehmer von der Grundplatte auf Wellenhöhe der Bremse und/oder des Prüflings zu bringen. Magtrol’s RTM Höherlegungssätze werden komplett mit Befestigungs- und Montageteilen für den Drehmomentaufnehmer und T-Nuten und Schrauben zum Aufsatz auf die PT Grundplatte geliefert.

PT Series T-slot Base Plates are used for creating a basic test rig by mounting a Magtrol Dynamometer and/or Torque Transducer in line with the unit to be tested. Its solid, warp-resistant structure and multiple, single-sided T-slots enable modular construction that is cost-effective and easy to assemble.
