[post_content] => The load cells of the ZC series have been designed for application in platform scales in the classes C1 to C3 according to OIML-RI 60 for platform sizes up to 600The load cells of the ZC series have been designed for application in platform scales in the classes C1 to C3 according to OIML-RI 60 for platform sizes up to 600 mm × 600 mm. They are made entirely of high strength low-hysteresis aluminum alloy with its outstanding measuring properties. The sensing element itself is a well-proven configuration of parallel benders. Metal-foil strain gauges transform the elastic deformation of the sensing element into a truly proportional electrical signal, which can be processed by an electronic weighing unit. The strain gauges are under a heavy-duty cover plate to protect them against climatic influences. As a standard, the load cells are equipped with a 1.5 m connection cable (different lengths or 6-wire connection are optional). In addition to the nominal loads given in the specification, intermediate load values can be delivered. It is a matter of course that these load cells, after calibration in N, can also be supplied as high-precision force transducers up to the accuracy class 0.05%. Due to their single-point configuration, these cells are largely insensitive to the off-center introduction of force. The load cells may also be supplied with an integrated amplifier (model ZC-E). Their electrical output can be chosen as either (0 to 10) V or (4 to 20) mA.

[post_content] => The Magtrol Load Monitoring Unit is specially designed for strain gauge transducer applications. Specifically developed for use with Magtrol load measuring pins and load-force weight sensors, the LMU Series provides excitation current and amplifies the output signal of full-bridge strain gauges.
Load Monitoring Units are flexible and fully configurable due to DIP-switches and jumpers which allow the unit to be easily installed - no solder connections are required. The level detectors and the outputs can be dedicated either to the full-bridge input, to the voltage input, or to the sum of both. A built-in auto-diagnostic system detects any short circuits or signal line failures, thus allowing the system to be used in applications where safety is important. If a problem is detected, both relays are deactivated and the output voltage (respective current) changes to > 10 V DC and > 20 mA.
The LMU is fully compatible with European Community (CE) standards. Its IP 65 aluminum housing allows the system to be used in harsh environments. Using SMD (surface mounted device) technology, the LMU allows the maximum performance/ price ratio for strain gauge transducer monitoring.

[post_content] => The MBB-02 Miniature Force Sensor is designed for micro-measurement. It is used by many high end watch manufacturers for measuring the friction in the movement of mechanical watches and is also used in various medical applications.
The MBB-02 is entirely made of aluminum to combine lightness and stability of measurement. It has a nominal capacity range of 0.01 N to 5 N and uses semi-conductor strain gauges. Having a larger gauge factor than foil types, semiconductor strain gauges allow the measurement of very small strain. The sensor integrates a built-in overload protection offering up to 25 times security. Dedicated to laboratory applications, it is suitable for a temperature range of +15 °C to +25 °C. It can be easily connected to a PC or display unit through an external Wheatstone bridge amplifier. A version for Air Humidity compensation in ranges of 30 % to 60 % HR is also available. Applied force radially acts on the sensors pin which can be independently positioned in 2 different locations, thus offering more operating flexibility. Special versions with various cable lengths and connector outputs are also available.
