To order Magtrol
motor test equipment it is important that you specify all correct
information. Please refer to each product's individual data
sheet for additional ordering information.
Hysteresis
Dynamometers
Along with the Hysteresis Dynamometer model number, it is necessary
to specify the correct suffix corresponding to the desired units
of torque measurement. For English torque measurement units
specify -6N, for Metric -7N, and for SI -8N.

Eddy-Current and Powder Dynamometers
The size of the dynamometer is determined by 1, 2, 3 or 4 which
is the number of coils and 2.7, 43, 65, 115 and 15 which is
the size of the dynamometer. PB indicates Powder Brake and WB
indicates Eddy-current Brake (Wirbelstrom in German). Add the
following suffixes if ordering a special version: -IS for OEM
version, -V for vertical use (Eddy Current only) and -HS for
high speed version.

VAC Operation
Our standard instruments are suitable for operation on 120 VAC.
If you are using 240 VAC you must add an "A" suffix after the
model number.
