BUFFALO, NY - Magtrol, Inc., a Test & Measurement Industry leader, proudly announces the opening of a new sales and service office in Shanghai, China. The primary focus of the sales team based at this new location is to increase international sales of Torque-Speed-Power products. This equipment includes dynamometers, power analyzers, motor testing software and torque transducers, among others. Magtrol is globally recognized by its customers for setting industry standards in the manufacture of these products.

"Opening the office in China was the next logical step for us from a global customer service standpoint," said Magtrol's President and Owner, William Mulroy. "We believe that our longstanding customers in North America and Europe who have expanded into China as well as our local Chinese customers will truly benefit by having a Magtrol office in the region."

Mulroy said that the company's customer-focused attitude also drove the decision to appoint Mr. Charles Lin as the new office's General Manager. Mulroy added, "With more than 10 years of experience selling Magtrol equipment in China, Mr. Lin has an excellent understanding of our products and is focused on providing the highest level of customer service."

Since its inception, Magtrol Shanghai has enjoyed increasing success. "Our greatest accomplishment in Shanghai has been the ability to provide our customers with improved local service," said Mr. Lin. "In addition to being able to place orders, customers are pleased to know that they are able to coordinate all of their calibration and service requirements with us."

Mr. Lin expects that Magtrol's new Shanghai office will become a vital component of the company's international sales force. "Our goal is to double the sale of Torque-Speed-Power products in China within the next two years," he said.
